Advanced Micro Lites, Inc. (AML)
AML is located in the Keystone Industrial Park in Elburn, IL. We are a professionally owned and operated family business.
With more than 70 years of knowledge in the lamp industry, our staff strives to provide you with personalized service, quality products and information, along with timely deliveries. In addition to our Elburn office we have Distributors across the United States and in Canada to assist you with whatever your lamp needs may be. It is our policy to develop, produce and deliver on time, quality products to our customers.
We supply lamps to the following:
- Ford Motor Company sub-contractors who require “Zero-Defects”. We supply the lamps for the keyless entry.
- Hughes Aircraft sub-contractors – supplying a “specialized” T-7/8 for panel boards.
- Wing-Tip and Reflector lamps used in commercial aircraft according to MS#’s.
- Various contracts with Defense General Supply Center (Cage No. ORAS6).
- Medical Field – AML supplies a specialized T-1 lens end – used in measuring CO2 in respirators.
- Auto lamps, such as 1683, 1251, and 623 to sub-contractors for Army Jeeps.
Testing Lab on Premise
Records available on any item
Quality control is in accordance with MIL-1-45208A and MIL-STD-105. Further extensive testing has been done by the Naval Air Warfare Center on certain items – results were positive. We supply from stock as well as specialized items in both the INCANDESCENT and LED PRODUCTS. Regarding distribution, AML has a Stocking Distributor Program. Complete stock and samples are always available.

Advanced Micro Lites (AML) was established in 1990 by Shirley Jaeger as a supplier of Aircraft, Miniature, Sub-Miniature, Neon, Telephone Slide Base, Fluorescent, Halogen, and LED lamps.
The majority of her working life Shirley has been in the LAMP INDUSTRY. Shirley has worked her way up the ladder, from gal-Friday to the President of another lamp company to forming her own lamp business. That business, Advanced Micro Lites, Inc., has become one of the leading suppliers of lamp and LEDs.
Bob Jaeger
Vice President
The bulk of Bob’s work history has been in the Electrical and Electronic Industry. Working with his wife and daughter to build a progressive and successful business has been a rewarding experience that keeps him learning and growing each and every day.
As a result Bob states, “We all look forward to the new and exciting challenges that our customers can bring us.”
Bob has been instrumental in establishing the crossing of the our standard incandescent lamps, to the LED versions.
DAWN KUEFLER

Dawn has been in the lamp industry for over 40 years. Her lamp career started at the age of 9 and she has evolved into a lamp expert, with an attitude that has generated a very strong base of satisfied customers which she is second to none, in attending to all of your needs.
